FAEIS Team Spotlight

Three Academic Areas with the Highest Enrollment

Greetings from the FAEIS team at Virginia Tech. If you are not familiar with this important project from USDA/CSREES, click here to read about FAEIS and why it is important to you.

Annual College Enrollment Survey

Each fall the FAEIS office conducts an annual phone/e-mail survey to obtain the total fall enrollment for each college at each institution participating in FAEIS. These numbers (total undergraduate and graduate enrollment) will encompass all degree programs in your college. Additional information in this survey includes programs added and dropped in 2008 and non-degree programs offered at your college.

The FAEIS office will soon be in contact with your Academic Programs office to obtain the total fall 2009 enrollment for your college. Please return your results for this survey by November 3, 2009.

Results from the 2008 College Enrollment Survey are posted under FAEIS Reports.

FAEIS Team Spotlight

Many FAEIS users may already recognize Jolene Hamm’s name from last year’s report process. Jolene is one of our graduate research assistants. She is a second year PhD student in the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education at Virginia Tech, where her studies focus on the areas of teaching and learning and her cognate is research.   Prior to coming to FAEIS, Jolene was an educator in extension and secondary education.  We are excited that Jolene will continue on this year in her new role as the FAEIS Help Desk Manager. Jolene will continue to assist FAEIS users with their reporting and data entry needs and she thanks each user for contributing to FAEIS.
